Important Changes to Givebacks for Bookings Completed with Ambassador Bonus Travel Credits

To ensure we can continue offering high-value rewards to Diamond members, we're updating our policy for Givebacks on bookings paid with Ambassador Bonus Travel Credits.

Starting today, 8 January 2026, Givebacks will no longer be received for bookings where 50% or more of the net booking value is paid with Ambassador Bonus Travel Credits.

This allows the sustainability of the AVA Smart Program to be maintained while still providing significant upfront savings via Ambassador Bonus Travel Credits as well as post-booking Giveback rewards on bookings that qualify under the updated rules.

The full changes are reflected in the updated AVA Smart Program Terms and Conditions, primarily in clause 4.7 (“Givebacks”):
