One of the most ironic patterns in the crypto space is watching cryptocurrency project leaders, teams, KOLs - or their shadow advisors - not only blame early OGs who founded blockchains, built the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges, or are simply blockchain and exchange executives, but also try to give them advice - all while struggling to create a single successful project themselves.
Before pointing fingers or offering unsolicited wisdom, ask yourself:
- Is your product actually good enough to compete in today’s multi-chain world - or is it just another clone with a new logo?
- Did you build real value that makes people want to move liquidity to your project - or are you just relying on temporary incentives and wishful thinking?
- Did you ship anything beyond hype, flashy tokenomics, and a roadmap full of dreams?
- Did you make something that’s actually useful - something that attracts real people, even normies can understand, want to use and invest to ?
You’re not standing on anyone’s shoulders - you’re on your own.
You can’t expect the ecosystem or crypto space leaders to carry your project. If what you’ve built isn’t strong enough to stand by itself, it simply won’t survive.
Stop blaming - and stop lecturing - the people who built the foundations. If your project isn’t gaining traction, maybe it’s not politics. Maybe it’s just not good enough.
