Here’s a piece of Ethereum history many people forget: Back in 2018, Ethereum nearly made a decision that could have changed everything. The proposal was called ProgPoW. Miners supported it heavily. It would’ve kept Ethereum in Proof of Work longer — more mining, more rewards, more influence for them. Vitalik wasn’t on board. At the time, miners had significant power. If ProgPoW had passed, the shift to Proof of Stake might’ve been delayed for years. Ethereum was still inflating around 4–5% annually — millions of ETH issued every year. Vitalik pushed in the opposite direction. He backed the difficulty bomb and kept pressure toward the Merge. Some called him paranoid. Others said he was ignoring miners. In the end, ProgPoW never made it in. Ethereum stayed on the path to Proof of Stake. Then in 2022, the Merge happened. Mining ended. Issuance dropped sharply. Inflation collapsed. If Ethereum had remained Proof of Work, inflation and long-term sell pressure would likely be much higher today. Now in 2026, Ethereum secures hundreds of billions in value. Most people forget how close it came to taking a completely different path. #Alishba_Sozar $ETH 🚀📜

Back in 2018, Ethereum nearly made a decision that could have changed everything.

The proposal was called ProgPoW.

Vitalik wasn’t on board.

At the time, miners had significant power. If ProgPoW had passed, the shift to Proof of Stake might’ve been delayed for years.

Ethereum was still inflating around 4–5% annually — millions of ETH issued every year.

📊 Stocks Are Moving On-Chain — Big Tech Is Leading Tokenized equities are no longer a niche idea — they’re quickly becoming one of the clearest bridges between TradFi and crypto. Familiar names like Alphabet, Tesla, and Circle’s USDC dominate attention, showing where demand naturally flows: well-known assets with strong narratives. What’s even more interesting is the duplication — the same stocks appearing in multiple tokenized versions. That’s not inefficiency; it’s liquidity competition. At the same time, exposure to Nvidia, MicroStrategy, and even commodities through tokenized trusts highlights a broader shift: users don’t just want crypto-native assets anymore — they want everything, but on-chain. Further down the ladder, smaller plays like Nest Alpha or tokenized oil show that experimentation is still alive at the edges. $NVDAon $AAPLon $TSLAon 🚀📈

$ETH Update — Whale Closes Major Longs A well-known whale wallet (“pension usdt eth”) has fully closed its ETH and $BTC long positions, locking in significant profits. 🔸 The exit reportedly generated $1.16M in realized gains. 🔸 Total accumulated profit now exceeds $25M. This comes after a strong recovery in leading assets, with large players starting to take profits. Now the big question: Is this a signal of a short-term top — or simply strategic portfolio reshuffling? As always, treat this as market information, not financial advice. Do your own research before making decisions.
