MEV Shield (Encrypted Mempool) has officially launched on Bittensor.

This innovative feature secures your transactions until they are included in a block, preventing front-running and sandwich attacks from exploiting prior knowledge of your slippage.

In various networks, MEV bots have been known to generate millions of dollars each month. In certain situations, these bots can utilize over 50% of the network's resources while competing against one another, which subsequently increases gas fees for all users.

With MEV Shield, the value created by the network remains within the network, rather than being siphoned off by bots.

If you wish to turn off protection for specific high-speed scripts, you can do so by adding the '--no-mev-protection' flag.

For developers interested in enabling encryption on a broader scale, the BT_MEV_PROTECTION environment variable allows for global encryption across all supported extrinsics.
