Many people get confused when $BTC falls right after good news. News like ETF approval, rate cuts, or positive data sounds bullish, so price should go up but often it does the opposite. This happens because markets move on expectations, not headlines.
Most of the time, smart traders buy before the news comes out. By the time good news is public, price has already gone up quietly. When the news finally drops, those early buyers start taking profit. This selling pressure causes Bitcoin to dump even though the news is positive.
