Why Are People Selling Their Crypto Right Now? Here's the Real Reason 👇

A lot of investors are offloading their coins just because prices are falling. Ask them why, and they'll usually say something like, "It's going down, so I sold." But truthfully, most don't understand the bigger picture—they're just acting out of fear.

Global tensions—conflicts involving countries like Iran, Lebanon, Israel, Pakistan, and India—are creating uncertainty. This unease causes smaller investors to panic and exit the market.

But here's what's really going on: large investors, known as "whales," often trigger these drops intentionally. They sell off portions of their holdings, which causes prices to dip. When smaller traders see this, they get scared and sell too—driving the price even lower.

Then what? The whales swoop back in and buy up the dip at a discount. It's a tactic: create fear, buy low, and profit later. Meanwhile, the small investors lose out because they sold too early.

According to a message from Whale Alert, 1,928 BTC were recently transferred to Kraken from an unknown wallet with the address "bc1qcp."
What is known about this transfer is that the sender is indeed an unknown entity, as even more sophisticated data from Arkham Intelligence doesn't label it anyway.

Furthermore, the sent Bitcoin landed on Kraken's deposit address and not in the hot wallet, which may indicate that it is indeed a major investor moving his crypto stash to the exchange and not Kraken itself shuffling funds between its own wallets.
If this is true, then the risks of a potential sell-off are skyrocketing and market participants had better start sweating.
