Here are 3 start-of-year security tips to harden your Safe Smart Account and make your setup unshakeable. 👇
🧵 1. Set a threshold that survives real life
Avoid N-of-N configurations. One lost key should not brick the account.
Common starting points include 2-of-3 or 3-of-5 for small teams, and 4-of-7 for larger treasuries. Make sure signers are independent people, not just one person with multiple devices.
🧵 2. Signers need diversity
"Don't put all your eggs in one basket" applies to your tech stack, too. Simply diversifying devices is not enough.
Do not keep all signer keys on the same device type, vendor, or location. Use dedicated signing setups (hardware wallet + clean device).
🧵 3. As always: "Don't Trust, Verify."
Never sign what you cannot explain. Always simulate the transaction first to see exactly what assets are moving.
