eip7702 evm attack scam!
A lot of strange letters make it strange. Crypto is a big problem if you aren't updated.
EVM is for ethereum virtual machine. That include all of Chains originating from ethereum like BSC, polygon, base, arbitrum, and more.
All of them can use this eip7702 thing. So, what is this eip7702?
It is a way to apply a smart contract to previously created wallet. Let's say a company want to do some changes to their previously created wallets. They can do that using eip7702.
Now, how is this a scam?
It isn't a scam itself. It can be used by scammers ig the greatest ways possible. The scammer can create a smart contract which automatically transfer any incoming crypto to a certain wallet. However, to do that he needs the wallet to sign that.
Let me give an example, a scammer promote a link for claiming a crypto air drop and you open it and tap on claim and approve the claiming transaction and nothing happen. This have made your wallet act as a smart contract.
You now think that nothing happened until you send crypto to this wallet and you find your crypto is taken and start panicking. It is like that someone has your bank account password and you don't know. Once you have money in the account, he will take it. But, it is done automatically on autopilot by the smart contract you signed from your wallet.
All of this happened to me. I was active in an air drop campaign called Ari Wallet. A hacker hacked their discord and posted a link for air drop claiming which looked official since it is from their official account. I approved the claiming transaction and nothing happen.
A month later I sent bnb to my wallet and it was automatically transfered out. I researched and that post is my finding.
I will write another post about what to do in this case soon. Be very cautious in crypto

However, many people in the US see that as illegal. The US supreme court was supposed to rule this few days ago but they are currently compromising. If they ruled this illegal, US government must return those funds which is a big problem from many perspectives.
Consumers are the ones who paid all of this and there is no way to return the money to the consumers! too much funny situation

How do you get in one of these exploding tokens? any one has something to share. I found few free tools to possibly avoid rug-pulls. But nothing about the ones exploding as white whale.
