Action Needed for Users Affected by the Browser Extension v2.68 Incident:
We have pinpointed a small subset of approximately 36,000 wallets, representing about 0.016% of our user community, that are still associated with compromised wallet(s). All users affected by this issue have already been informed through a security incident banner displayed on your Trust Wallet Browser Extension.
For those who may not have accessed the extension to view the banner, we have made additional efforts to reach them if the same wallet addresses are also linked to their mobile version. This included: • A mobile app notification highlighting the required action • A pop-up message that appears upon opening the Trust Wallet mobile app
If you have received a notification, it is crucial that you discontinue use of the old compromised wallet, create a new wallet, and transfer your assets immediately to safeguard your funds. Please refer to the instructions below.
If you have not received any notifications, rest assured that you are not impacted, and no further action is necessary.
