io, per uno, sono molto felice che lo stile di trading in criptovalute si stia spostando sulle azioni

"oh crcl è sopravvalutato -> coin beta"

questo è un buon segno per il futuro del trading

the new meta in crypto is that 20% of tokens will make 80% of gains

more accurately, 1% of tokens will make 99% of gains

the bad news is that if youre incapable of handling volatility and have risk limits you will likely underperform

this isnt an insult, its just a mathematical fact that as less tokens do well, u just have to have more concentrated positions

consiglio utile: solo perché *grande evento nella direzione che ti piace* sta accadendo, non significa che sia il punto di svolta

e.g - "tanta gente parla di azioni, massimo" - non è così che si formano i massimi

allo stesso modo, "nessuno parla di crypto, minimo" - vedi ETHBTC; nessuno parla di ETH!

tbh when u look at some of these valuations it's pretty obvious why crypto alts behave the way they do

i'd say crypto is a success at making magic money real tho

my take is that if you're in crypto and looking at crypto equities, start thinking about the lines in which tradfi can use crypto that isn't explored / fully well understood

because clearly the world doesn't understand circle whereas we understand it abit TOO WELL and got too fundamental

the most obvious lines are
- stablecoins
- tokenised equities
- perps
- and maybe DeFi

to be very honest, many PRODUCTS of crypto are good. their TOKENS, however, are not. In fact, i think that if a defi protocol (that's big) ever decides to IPO, i think it can run it up alot, vs their token

as such, for tokens, i think the list is short, and imo the one i like the most is HYPE

and then for stocks, you have
CRCL / HOOD / COIN

da un lato credo che questo commercio affollato non impatti negativamente su se stesso nel lungo termine perché il TAM è molto più grande + capacità di attrarre acquirenti dal tradfi grazie ai buoni fondamentali

dall'altro, non mi piace come tutti si stiano affrettando a comprare in fondo

anyways i did some thinking about where the next leg up will come from and i believe it comes from HYPE becoming a decentralized binance

- HYPE started as a perp dex, yes
- it also makes all its money from perp dexes
- but its vision is never a perp dex. in a way it's more like a CEX but decentralized (not calling it a DEX bc people will think i'm talking about AMMs)
- PENGU is on HYPE spot (though it can't be traded yet) ; i think we're gonna see more of this where projects truly treat HYPE as a place to launch their tokens
- why? because the binance cabal is truly getting insanely out of hand ; if i was a project and had to choose between giving up >5% of supply to get listed, vs potentially listing on Hyperliquid and taking a risk, it's clear which one makes more sense
- go see the charts of all the new launches on binance lol. vs a platform with not as much users, and not as much volume - sure it might go down only, but on binance it's literally confirmed to go down only ; at least on hyperliquid u stand a chance

anyways this will likely take a while. in the short term it's dominated by flows and unfortunately
- everyone is in this coin
- means reflexivity is insane to both the downside and upside
- if this shit launched in 2021 we'd be at 500 or some shit right now. unfortunately we are succumb to broader market influences, which basically means that the upside from here is not as large as it used to be until the building catches up due to the crypto market just being very dry right now

overall think this is the one token u always want to hold bc this guy is maximally aligned w the crypto ethos and is someone i'd trust to build whatever he's building

the crypto market in its current state consists of a couple of assets that go 4x, and if you miss it you basically afk for the rest of the year

there are alot of statements people like to use that i dont really understand

for example "do u wanna be right or make money"

well i would like to be both, i would like my trade ideas to be right and thus make money... that is the essence no?
