Aavegotchi is a DeFi-powered non-fungible token (NFT) farming game with play-to-earn capabilities that runs on the Aave, Ethereum, and Polygon networks. The popular Tamagotchi pet simulator toy from the 1990s inspires the game.

The Aavegotchi platform provides various ways to earn GHST, such as participating in governance, winning mini-games, and rarity farming. Rarity farming is a process in which users carefully select rare traits in the breeding process and equip specific wearables to increase the base rarity score of an Aavegotchi avatar to gain higher value for profit. Additionally, users can stake GHST tokens to earn GAX Liquidity Token Rewards, an in-game resource needed for crafting and building installations.
