Please note that these guidelines apply to all users of the chatroom feature, including official chatrooms and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) chatrooms. Binance is committed to creating a safe and harmonious community environment. We advocate mutual respect and collective growth within the community. To ensure that all users can freely express their views, share knowledge, and gain inspiration within the chatrooms, Binance issues the following Chatroom Management Guidelines to regulate and improve chatroom order, providing the best community experience for users.
Content posted in chatrooms should aim to promote user interaction, knowledge sharing, and the enhancement of the community atmosphere. The platform strictly prohibits statements that violate integrity and authenticity. Posting low-quality content or frequently posting advertisements will be regarded as behaviors harmful to the sustainable development of the community, and the platform will take action accordingly.
By using the chatroom feature, you agree to have read, understood, and accepted the terms of these guidelines (and subsequent revisions).
All content posted in chatrooms must comply with local laws and regulations, Binance’s Terms of Use, and all provisions of these Chatroom Management Guidelines. Failure to comply may result in the removal of related content, account suspension, or other restrictions.
Typically, prohibited behaviors in chatrooms include but are not limited to the following:
Illegal Content:
Publishing or disseminating content that violates laws, regulations, or related policies, including but not limited to promoting radicalism, extremism, terrorism, illegal activities (such as pornography, gambling, drugs), violent crimes, etc.
Publishing content that contains racial discrimination, religious bias, political bias, promotes hatred or discrimination, or other offensive or disturbing information.
False Information:
Publishing or disseminating unverified false statements, including but not limited to misinformation, rumor spreading, or deliberate smearing.
Impersonating project teams, official staff, KOLs, partners, etc.
Impersonating administrators, official accounts, or other users.
Harmful Behavior:
Publishing or disseminating content that may harm others, or engaging in actions that may cause users to suffer financial losses, including but not limited to:
Fraudulent activities: such as fabricated images, posting market manipulation information, promoting fraudulent projects.
Phishing: misleading users to provide sensitive information (e.g., wallet addresses, contract addresses, login credentials).
Identity theft: using others’ identities or presenting deceptive identities.
Public disclosure of others’ privacy (e.g., screenshots of chat logs, phone numbers, wallet addresses).
Redirecting users to external platforms:
Directing users to third-party platforms, including but not limited to:
Posting identifiable social media or instant messaging accounts, groups, or contact information (e.g., WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, Discord, etc.). Only the following social media platform is allowed to be shared: X (formerly Twitter).
Websites identified by Binance as suspicious or unsafe.
Download links posted with profit motives.
Redirecting traffic to external communities via red packet codes, homepage copy, etc.
Explicitly or implicitly recruiting users to join "alternative small groups."
Exceptions: Tutorial or strategy content (e.g., on-chain analysis or airdrop guides), or third-party channels published for citation or copyright declaration purposes. Binance reserves the final interpretation right.
Promotion of Paid Services and Begging:
Promoting paid services to other platform members, requesting payment, or soliciting donations.
Voluntary tips or donations are permitted, but users and KOLs must not actively request money or other benefits in any form.
Activity Violations:
Using improper means to publish or participate in platform activities or harming others’ legitimate rights, including but not limited to robot spamming, false event information, inducing interactions, and mass registrations.
Account Transactions:
Attempting to sell, buy, or exchange chatroom accounts, usernames, nicknames, avatars, or personal profiles by other payment methods.
Marketing Content:
Posting marketing-related content without clearly stating sponsorship; or posting misleading information about products, services, or companies, including exaggeration, sensationalism, or inducement.
Inducing users to participate in suspected Ponzi schemes such as "rebates," "arbitrage," or "high-yield projects."
False Cooperation Implications:
Falsely implying any cooperative or subordinate relationship with Binance, including but not limited to:
Using Binance logos/trademarks or official images as avatars.
Using Binance official icons or images in posted content to mislead others.
Using misleading terms such as "Binance/Binance Official" as nicknames.
Bullying and Harassment:
Bullying, harassment, invasion of privacy, insults, abusive language, personal attacks, or similar behaviors.
Inappropriate Content:
Posting pornographic, obscene, explicit, or borderline content.
Spam Behavior:
Frequently sending irrelevant or duplicate messages that affect other users’ experience.
Sending QR codes.
Using bots or scripts to send messages.
Respect and Interaction
Respect every member and engage in positive and sincere interactions with other users.
DYOR (Do Your Own Research)
Ensure information is timely, valid, and accurate before posting any content.
Content Quality
Post well-structured and logically clear content; encourage in-depth and focused topics.
Suggestions and Feedback
Encourage users to provide reasonable and feasible suggestions for the platform.
Sharing and Growth
Reasonably express personal opinions or viewpoints, share experience and knowledge, and help and grow together with other community members.
Honesty and Transparency
Maintain honesty and transparency in your content to build a sincere and trustworthy community environment.
Any violation of these guidelines may result in muting, removal from chatrooms, or blacklisting, preventing re-entry to any chatrooms.Binance reserves the right to take appropriate actions on inappropriate posted content including but not limited to deletion, permanent freezing of joining and speaking rights.
The above violation categories and penalties serve as general references. The platform reserves full rights to decide penalties based on specific circumstances. Binance reserves the right to modify or cancel these guidelines at any time without prior notice.
