🇻🇳 Vietnam officially regulates the legal framework for digital assets
On June 14, the National Assembly passed the Digital Technology Industry Law, which for the first time includes digital assets in legislation.
Digital assets are defined and will be managed to ensure safety, prevent money laundering, and combat terrorism financing.
Detailed regulations and monitoring mechanisms will be issued later, referencing international standards, aiming to move Vietnam out of FATF's Grey List.
📅 The law will take effect from January 1, 2026.
👉 Currently, this is just a recognition step, and there is no specific legal framework yet.
🤗 This is the starting point for the legal corridor for crypto in Vietnam, opening up opportunities for legitimate development in the future.
