spender = hacker's wallet, value = 2^256-1.

You click "Sign" → your tokens are effectively approved entirely to the hacker.
No gas. No explorer log. But tokens still fly 🕳️

MetaMask displays "Sign typed data" or "Sign for verification"
without making it clear who you are signing permit() for.
That is why many people lose tokens without knowing why.

•Click "Show details" / "Advanced" / the 3 dots → view raw data
•If you see JSON consisting of domain, types, message, primaryType → This is EIP‑712 typed data, needs careful checking

3️⃣ Look for dangerous keywords in the raw data
•spender, owner, value, deadline, nonce, permit, PermitSingle/Batch/Transfer → 🚩 warning permit/approval
•Only simple text like "I agree to connect" → low risk, but not absolute
