From day one, $NODE has been designed to serve as the economic layer of the NodeOps Network.

PIP 04 formalizes this vision, turning it into an on-chain, rule-based economic engine aligned with long-term sustainable value.

Here is what it means in practice:

→ Every dollar of real network usage now triggers on-chain burns

→ 50% of protocol fees are permanently burned to an immutable address

→ 50% of revenue informs an adaptive mint mechanism that only expands supply when the ecosystem grows

→ The mint ratio (r) stays conservative by default and can only increase through governance

→ Weekly burns become predictable, auditable, and verifiable by anyone

This creates a transparent, automated, and irreversible deflationary foundation for $NODE.

PIP-04 activates the NodeOps Fee Module, bringing weekly automated burns and governance-controlled minting fully onchain.

Each week:

• 50% of protocol fees are burned

• 50% of revenue informs governance-approved minting

• All burns go to the immutable public burn address: eth:0x2080FeE444118AFCe30fCb749802C18c0a980dB7

The mint ratio (r) stays conservative by default and can only adjust through governance, keeping $NODE tightly aligned with real network growth.

With PIP 04, protocol revenue flows directly into $NODE’s economic cycle, creating a transparent, rule-based, and irreversible deflationary model tied to ecosystem expansion.
