India has just issued new regulations requiring crypto exchanges to verify users more strictly to combat money laundering.

The new regulations require users, when opening an account, to:
- Take a live selfie, with motion checks to prevent deepfakes.
- Provide geographic location and IP address.
- Verify bank account through small transactions.
- Provide identification documents, email, and phone number.

These measures aim to strengthen KYC/AML, limit anonymous accounts, and fraud.

According to current law, profits from crypto are taxed at 30%, with no deductions for losses from other transactions, making compliance and monitoring even more complex.$BTC

This 4chan anon predicted Bitcoin’s exact top two years in advance🚨

But here’s what’s happening:

In December 2023, an anonymous user on 4chan posted a single thread that called Bitcoin’s cycle top almost perfectly.

On December 12, 2023, an anon using the ID SBC7H7La opened a thread on /biz/.

“BTC ATH October 6th 2025”

- The Cycle Logic

This user laid out a simple timing pattern:

ATL to ATH ≈ 1,064 days
ATH to ATL ≈ 364 days

He showed the same structure across:

2015 → 2017
2018 → 2021
2021 → 2022

Then extended it forward.

The model landed on October 6th, 2025.

What Actually Happened

Bitcoin topped on October 6–7, 2025.

The timing error was days but it wasn’t the only prediction

Screenshots star circulating on X claiming the same user predicted this for 2026

These screenshots are fabricated.
The cited post ID doesn’t exist.

The number shown is in the hundreds of millions, while real /biz/ post IDs in December 2025 are around 61 million.

That gap is impossible.
Community Notes flagged it.

The anon:

- Correctly mapped a cycle top
- Never returned
- Never made new predictions

Others used his “accuracy” to push fake predictions later.

This was just one real post.
Surrounded later by fake ones.

Previously, there was a very strong withdrawal wave that made many people think $ETH had a problem. In reality, that wasn't the case.

That recent withdrawal wave was mainly due to leveraged investments in DeFi being unwound. When borrowing interest rates rise, those looping strategies of borrowing ETH and then staking it in circles become ineffective, so they have to stop: sell some off, withdraw ETH to pay back debts.

Additionally, there are technical factors. Some validator operators temporarily unstaked to mitigate system risks, then staked again afterward when things stabilized.

Besides that, after the recent upgrade, staking ETH has become easier and more flexible, so whales and institutions took the opportunity to unstake their old positions to reorganize them more neatly and efficiently.

Once these things are sorted out, Ethereum returns to a lower-risk state, with staking being more transparent and "cleaner." As a result, the number of people wanting to stake now has increased and surpassed the number withdrawing.$ETH
