Makina announced at 04:15 on 23/01 (Vietnam time), MEV Builder has refunded funds according to SEAL, returning about 920 ETH out of a total of 1.023 ETH and retaining a 10% bonus.

The refunded amount is described as about 920 ETH, corresponding to the remaining part after deducting the 10% bonus according to SEAL white hat safe harbor protocol. Makina also mentions a total of 1.023 ETH in the event related to MEV Builder.

The entire refunded amount has been transferred to the multisignature address restore: 0xc22F…8AB9. Makina stated that this refund is related to about 1.299 ETH of the total cryptocurrency stolen.

Remaining funds and contact address

The Makina team continues to search for the unrecovered cryptocurrency and is trying to contact a validator address of RocketPool, believed to have received about 276 ETH.

The RocketPool validator address specified by Makina is 0x573D…910E, with an inflow of about 276 ETH. The team stated they are trying to contact to assist in the recovery process.

Makina emphasized that the tracing process is still ongoing for the remaining funds outside of the amount transferred back to multisig 0xc22F…8AB9.
