According to leaks from external influencers, the video-sharing platform Rumble, backed by Tether, now supports tips using BTC, XAUT, and USDT. Currently, the testing is limited to Android users and involves only a few thousand users. At the same time, Rumble Wallet has been launched.
Rumble announced in December 2024 a definitive agreement with Tether for a strategic investment of $775 million. As part of the deal, Tether purchased 103,333,333 Class A common shares in Rumble at a price of $7.50 per share, totaling $775 million. $250 million of this amount will be used for growth plans, including attracting more content creators, strategic acquisitions, and enhancing the technical infrastructure of Rumble Cloud.
