Mild tremors were felt in Islamabad and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Attock and Swabi, on Saturday.

According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake measured 4.4 on the Richter scale with a depth of 14 kilometres. Officials said the epicentre was located 11 kilometres northeast of Burhan in Attock district.

No immediate reports of casualties or property damage were received.

A day earlier, a stronger 5.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded, with its epicentre in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.
