how I started to trade and what I learnt part 4
We are still talking about asset modes and today we are going to talk about multiple asset mode.
Multiple asset mode;
Multiple asset mode is where by whatever assets you have on your futures account can be used to trade any available pair when trading futures.
To break this down, it means if you have like usdt in ur a/c, u can use the same usdt to do an entry of a pair with usdc ( it's not locked to usdt pairs alone )
How do we switch account from single asset to multiple assets,
When you look at your user interface you will find at the top u will see margin mode (cross) next to it is leverage and the asset mode.
Note:
Multiple asset mode only works with cross margin mode so make sure you are on cross not isolated.
Benefits of multiple asset margin.
On top of the benefits adressed on part 4 which talks about cross margin mode (read the previous articles to understand )
The additional benefit here is you can do trade entries of different pairs using a single asset.
For example if you only have usdt , u can as well make usdc by buying usdc pairs using usdt, (example assuming u only have usdt and u want to enter a trade of a pair of #btcusdc u can using ur usdt assets.)
The trick,
Assuming u have a running trade lets say u have btcusdt running and it goes against your prediction u can enter another trade of btcusdc running opposite to your previous trade which will help you save yourself from liquidation. That's incase you are not using "hedge position mode "( we shall talk about this on the next post).
And when the market shift back to your side u can take aprofit and do another entry of the same pair, which is beneficial to you instead of waiting for ur trade to make profit u can be making more.
Hope you picked something from these and if u want to know more give me a #follow and I recommend you read the previous articles too to better your understanding.
