The sleeping giant

Thousands of years ago the giant had descended from the heavens. Big like the mountains. As he touched the ground, he looked around and saw that the native populations surrounded him to watch him. The air around the giant was filled with electromagnetic energy. Of the humanoids that had arrived on the planet, this was the largest. When the giant lay down, many groups carried ladders and bridges.

The large humanoid closed his eyes and opened his hands covered by the armor like his entire body. In the palm he discovered a small keyboard. The priestess approached slowly and ceremoniously wrote a lengthy code. The energy emanating from the humanoid diminished, hundreds of connection ports rising from its body. Several groups of people went up and down, carrying materials, cables and tubes.

From the ports that left the giant they would take for centuries the energy that was so difficult to generate on their planet. The energy symbiosis of this crypto culture was protected from invasion by the computer priestesses who, generation after generation, kept the codes to access energy secret.

At this moment the electromagnetic activity begins to increase rapidly, soon energy will stop flowing in the connection ports. When this happens the populations return to the forests and lakes. Very soon the sleeping giant will awaken and return to its distant and mysterious home in space, returning perhaps a thousand years later.
