A dangerous scam has just been discovered targeting Solana users. The community $SOL needs to check their browser extensions immediately!
💥 Scam Tactics
Target: A browser extension named "Crypto Copilot" (or similar versions impersonating AI tools/automated trading).
Mechanism: This extension is embedded with malware that allows it to:
Access the connected Solana wallets of the users.
Execute secret cryptocurrency trades without the users’ knowledge and without authorization.
The profit from these trades, or even a portion of the principal assets, is diverted straight into the attacker’s wallet.
🛡️ Immediate Necessary Action
Check Extension: Immediately uninstall any extension named "Crypto Copilot" or any unknown automated trading tools.
Revoke Access: Check the dApps and websites you have granted access to your Solana wallet (Solflare, Phantom, etc.) and revoke permissions for any suspicious dApps.
Transfer Assets: If you suspect your wallet has been compromised, transfer all assets to a new, clean, and secure wallet.
