This group photo was taken about ten years ago (around 2015-2016), featuring early Chinese Bitcoin enthusiasts or crypto community members at a face-to-face gathering or event. The background is a modern minimalist indoor space (resembling a conference room or hotel lobby). Everyone is dressed very casually and朴素 (T-shirts, shorts, slippers, tank tops, jeans, sports shoes), with many wearing glasses. The overall look is the quintessential style of middle-class programmers or early crypto geeks—definitely not resembling wealthy individuals. But as you might know, many of these people became major figures a decade later.

The most eye-catching person in the picture

- The guy in the front right, wearing a T-shirt and slippers, glasses, and looking very average → this is **CZ (Changpeng Zhao)**, founder of Binance.

- Around 2014-2015, CZ had just left OKEx or was just starting to plan Binance, at a stage when he had already gone all-in on Bitcoin in the crypto circle but hadn't yet become wealthy, so dressing so poorly was perfectly normal.

- Ten years later, he once became the **richest Chinese person** (with a net worth exceeding $90 billion by the end of 2021), despite experiencing massive ups and downs — including a sharp drop, SEC lawsuit, imprisonment, release, and Trump's pardon — but he remains one of the most influential figures in the crypto world today.

- Overall, apart from CZ, there's no other clearly famous 'crypto billionaire-level' figure in public information today, but this group or circle was the core gathering place for Chinese Bitcoin believers back then, and many of them later made money (some remained low-key, some switched careers, some became mid-level leaders).

Ten years ago, looking at their attire, everyone seemed like poor students; ten years later, looking at their wealth, many have achieved financial freedom and even become 'invisible billionaires' in the crypto world. CZ is the most extreme example — from selling his house to go all-in on Bitcoin, to founding an exchange, becoming the richest person, then going to prison, getting out, receiving a pardon, and returning to the top. This is truly a living legend in the crypto world. This photo is an excellent representation of crypto inspiration or dark humor! 😂

I bought LTC for the first time in June 2014, details can be found in my previous articles; to this day, I'm still just a small holder! If you know more names, feel free to share them in your reply
