What Is OpenEden (EDEN)?
OpenEden is a real-world asset tokenization platform designed to bring traditional financial instruments onto the blockchain in a secure way. The project is built on Ethereum and enables assets such as real estate, private credit, and U.S. Treasury Bills to be represented as digital tokens. By doing so, OpenEden aims to unlock liquidity and accessibility for markets that have historically been illiquid or restricted to institutions.
The project’s model combines asset custody, token minting, and independent auditing. Real-world assets are held by regulated custodians, which separates them from the platform’s operational funds. Smart contracts are then used to mint blockchain-based tokens that directly represent ownership of the underlying assets. To maintain transparency, OpenEden uses third-party attestations and on-chain data that confirm full backing of tokenized assets.
The OpenEden ecosystem also contains additional products like USDO, a yield-bearing stablecoin fully backed by various reserve assets, and cUSDO, a wrapped version of USDO designed for use in applications that do not support rebasing tokens.
OpenEden is led by a team with experience across both traditional finance and the cryptocurrency industry. Founder and CEO Jeremy Ng is joined by General Counsel Wayne Tan, Chief Technology Officer Duke Du, and Head of Product Frederick Chng. Collectively, the team brings expertise from global institutions such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, and Gemini.
EDEN is the native utility and governance token of OpenEden. Holders can stake EDEN to earn rewards while also taking part in governance, voting on token emissions and protocol upgrades. In addition, a portion of tokens is set aside to incentivize adoption and support the launch of new products. Furthermore, EDEN also unlocks practical benefits such as fee discounts, rebates, and access to premium services within the ecosystem.
The circulating supply of EDEN token is 183.87 million, with a total supply of 1 billion tokens.
EDEN token is listed on Binance for trade and purchase. The current price of EDEN is available and updated in real-time on Binance.
