How do I get into a specific project (crypto)?

First of all I've a look on their webpage. I need to find the #Whitepaper!
There I find the scope of the project and many other information. (Take your time, make sure you understand the content! Often they have more than just a hand full of pages)

If I still like it, I move on to @CoinMarketCap_official
Hard facts, compare and verify the data with the content of the whitepaper. MarketCap, Airdrop, ICO?

Check the partners, if available. Learn about the community, the progress and the timeline of the project and of course the overall sentiment.

Now I try to ask myself what benefit the project brings to:
- me personal
- the community
- the whole world

If I get good answers to every question I'm sure I understood the scope. From here I'm able to tell if this product fits into my portfolio!

I put it now under a close review of the charts. Usually I watch a coin about 2 - 4 weeks before I buy. (Do not hesitate, you're about to buy a product. If you buy a good one, it will increase it's worth over time.)
